Bizarre Focal Points

Interesting Discovery.

While adjusting to wearing glasses, I make some interesting discoveries.

They are Transitional Bi-focals.

While getting used to where exactly on the lens certain distances come into sharp focus, I notice that my speedomoter numbers are focused on the far viewing top portion of the lens, yet the red speed indicator comes in sharp in the bottom reading portion of the lens.

This is while the speed numbers are BLUE. When turning them RED (yes my car does that - see previous posts) they both focus on the reading area of the lens.

the distance is a little more than an arms length, so it is really not reading distance.

One would assume from this discovery that different colors have different focal points.

Do Rods and Cones work in this manner?

More experiments are in order and will be completed... Stay Tuned
