Guitar of the day.
The story behind the guitar. Including a photo

Ibanez GSR200FM Bass Guitar (click to see photo and read story)
So rather than retype or have to copy paste email since I need to use PC for images here nowadays. I am trying to post the guitar a day feature as a link to my Facebook guitarist page.
Would someone be so kind as to see if it works. This should take you to a post regarding a Taylor guitar if you don't already please also like my guitarist page while you're there and even look around for some links to songs at my reverb nation and have a listen.
Please let me know how this link works for the public

Starting a feature called guitar of the "day". Why is day in quotes ? Because this probably won't be a daily thing. But rather when I feel like doing it and think of it thing. I will post a guitar and a story behind the guitar or any special thought I have of the guitar.

Starting out this feature, I share a Ibanez RG760 with JB finish. Probably about a 1989-1990 guitar. I bought this on eBay for around $300. In 2002/2003.  It has an Ibanez Edge Vibrato bar which is basically a Floyd Rose. The neck is thin and wide. Has 24 frets. Ibanez humbucker bridge pickup and Ibanez single coil middle and neck pickups.

I had an Ibanez ??rg560?? Or something back in the 90s that was stolen. And I wanted another one because it was fun to play and had a locking nut for some great vibrato bar dives and huge bends. But of course this one since it was eBay wasn't quite as good.  Missing a pickup cover which I later found one and bought and Installed. I also unsoldered and changed the polarity and resoldered one of the pickups a few years to to make it sound a little better.

It's okay. Has a decent tone and hey 24 frets means you can some high notes.
This was kinda my get a metal guitar to compliment the Gibson Les Paul Firebrand I had that just wasn't the Gibson SG that was also stolen.

Overall it's pretty decent. Hard to tune and keep in tune especially for someone like me who keeps my hand up against the bridge a lot. Could use a setup and fine tuning and I will take to  Dave Lynch one of these days for that.

Stay tuned for more Guitar of the day posts, photos, and stories.
