The Grin Weeper

Here is a special Halloween Post, you might know him as the Green Weeper, the Brim Leaper, The Grin Weeper, the Brown Leaper, whatever you know him as there are alot of them running around knocking on doors getting candy. I know of one that only made it to six or seven houses and didn't feel good. .......... Not really much into Halloween at all, just like saying all the variations of Grin Weeper

Kids Today

Remember this......Do ya.....huh?...........
Kids today (and by kids I mean anybody under 34) have no clue what it was like to go to Disneyland and be able to go only on so many rides, you had to have a ticket for each ride. When you walked in to Disneyland you got a little ticket book with so many tickets A, B, C, D, and E. each ride took a different ticket. The good rides were the E tickets, the little rides were the A tickets. Perhaps on a later but soon posting I will post each ticket so one can see which rides you could go on for each ticket. You got something like 3xE 3xD 4xC 4xB and 5xA or something like that..............................So next time someone tells you that hanging out with you is like riding an E ticket ride..........You'll know what they are talking about.

Reasons Not to Shop in Old Sacramento

Business don't have bathrooms and they direct you to bathrooms that are CLOSED.

They Charge for Parking and difficult parking at that.

Limited hours for shopping, but drinking is always available.

More Expensive.....Less Variety.

This Thing is Starting to Grow on Me

It's been called many things.......I've heard these.....The Golf Tee, The Tree, The $12 Million Front Door, That Thing.

I must say that this structure is really starting to grow on me. I think I like it, when it is all lit up It must look nice, I must say it looks much better than the rest of the window wall system on the building. To see it's anchorage down on LL2 is amazing.

Wonder if the CSUS Frat Boys will ever figure out how to fill it with water and gold fish.

Things Going On

There is alot going on right now.

Meetings, Committees, Sports, Town Stuff, Family Stuff, Halloween Stuff, Parties, and the Holidays are right around the corner.

I really want to be recording some music, need things to mellow out a bit first.

Saw a teenager I know a few months ago at a soccer game with his Bass Guitar, talked to his dad today and he was on his way to make a recording of his band, with one of those $2.99 computer microphones and a laptop computer. I told him that I would record his son's band for him with my digital 8 track. I guess they have drums, and guitar, they must, but I really only know the bass player...........isn't that how it always is............we know the bass players...........

Probably need 2 Sure SM-57s to really do it right, these condensors I have are great for Acoustic Guitars but to catch a true Rock and Roll Band in action, gonna needs some dynamics.

I think they are less than a benji each, Not going to do ebay until I get over the shipping fiasco I just had, but I'll do Musician's Friend if they have a good sale and free shipping.

Enough for now, it's raining today, rather nice, the season is finally changing.

New Album

So I am working on my new Album. In between Soccer Games, Cherub Choir Practice, Scout Meetings, Meaningless sleep attempts...........

have some new material and have been practicing it. Need to do some arranging and some recording.

Hopefully I'll have something acceptable soon. But trying not to put to much pressure on it because it is after all just a hobby, and I have parenting responsibilities.
