Ginormous Crane Move

This was an interesting day, I took my son to watch them move the Big Crane at the Sacramento City Hall project to the other side, I think it was about a 350 Ton Crane.

As Promised

As Promised, here are some pics of the 2 Drop Holes from Mondays Golf Tournament

The Par 3 was the one that I hit the green.......which is amazing, I very rarely hit the green on Par 3s.

The Longer hole is one where you have to hike up to it. (It was also the Marshmallow Drive Hole, Hosted by Nicole and her husband)

Voting WTF

WTF?

Well now that we're all "High Tech" with our voting system, it is all jacked up.

There were NEVER this many problems when it was just voting with the punched cards.

Now all there are is problems. My county (Yolo) can't even count their ballots because their new machine doesn't work. When I voted this morning, instead of having the card with the card punching machine, I got a piece of paper and a Pen (which didn't even write very well) and filled in little squares..............Now they tell us that the Machine to read the ballots doesn't even work.

Plus, once we switch over to full computer voting, just think of the Fraud that will be committed against the voters.

It's a Sham, and a Shame.

Now the Ass Hole Democrat Gubernatorial candidate is getting ready to go on TV and "declare victory". and they haven't even counted some counties.

Since I'm a Republican, I really don't give a shit since I couldn't vote for the guy anyway. Speaking of which, does anybody else even realize what happened 4 years ago, when there was a lock in Democrat the Democrats put an initiative on the ballot to allow people to vote across party barriers in the primary, just so the democrats could vote for a shitty republican to go against their boy. Then after the election the inititiave was declared unconstitutional.

I have been reading more and more about people's Social Security Numbers and Dates of Birth being stolen from Laptop computers in cars.

What is up with this.

Why are people driving around, parking their cars, with this information on their Laptop Computers in them...................

Am I the only one that thinks this is Strange?

Am I the only one that has even noticed a rash of this?

Also Hit a green on a Par 3 yesterday.

No pictures of that, but I do have a shot of the hole, it was one of those really droppy ones that goes down like what seems like a few hundred feet.

Nuclear Energy

I have always been fascintated with the Babcock & Wilcox Nuclear Reactor Cooling Towers.
Really Cool to Look at Up-Close.

These towers at the Now closed (but soon to be re-opened using different fuel) Rancho Seco Nuclear Power Plant, were one of my first sights to see when moving to Sacramento back in 1978, you can see them from SR-99 on a clear day, but to really appreciate their hugeness you have to go see them up close.

There is even a recreational lake at the site........Think I'll take someone there for a picnic one of these days.
